IT'S SUMMER AND HAND SCOOPED ICE CREAM HAS ARRIVED AT BROOKS
It really does feel like the summer is here and there is some heat out there (finally and for once). To tempt you while the sun shines and to keep you cool we now stock Roskilly's ice cream. Available in four flavours - traditional vanilla, scrummy strawberry, cool chocolate and miraculous mint choc chip - we're sure you will love it. We also offer two cone sizes for those who really need at least two scoops.

A NEW HEAD CHEF NOW RULES THE ROOST
Andy arrived about six weeks ago and is already proving to be an excellent addition to the Brooks' team. He's skilled, friendly, committed and ultra efficient - what's not to like? Andy has spent the last year traveling and working in Australia so he brings a lot of expertise on the Australian cafe culture. He is also a dab hand at canapes - watch our catering service take off.

WE HAVE AN ALCOHOL LICENCE SO YOU CAN HIRE BROOK'S FOR PARTIES
We recently hosted our first party for 45 - an informal evening of prosecco, delicious canapes and freshly squeezed orange juice. If you have a gathering or party to organise and are looking for a venue please ask to speak to our manager Kate. We can provide everything you need from expertly selected wines to gorgeous cakes and other scrumptious nibbles. We also have great, customer focused staff who can serve your drinks and ensure your event runs ever so smoothly.

OUR BREAD IS PROVING MORE POPULAR THAN EVER - AVAILABLE DAILY
Our weekend breadstall has proved so popular we have made fresh bread available on a daily basis. Great breads and savoury treats are sold here throughout the week. Whether you're looking for brioche, rye, sourdough, soda bread or baguettes and olive breads, raisin and walnut bread you'll find it at Brook's. Please note that a the range sold during the week is slightly more limited than at the weekend but if you tell us you want something specific, we will get it for you. Promise.

LONGER OPENING ON SUNDAYS
You said you wanted more time on Sundays for coffee and cakes so we have altered our opening hours and given caffeine addicts an extra hour across the day. You can shop in the delicatessen, have coffee and luxuriate in delicious cake until 6pm on Saturdays and 5.30pm on Sundays.

Our new opening hours are:

8am - 6.30pm Monday - Friday
8.30am - 6pm Saturday
8.30am - 5.30pm Sunday
